We process your data only to provide and improve Rizsume services.
Job description text is used for analysis workflows and handled with safeguards.
You can request export or deletion of your account data, subject to legal obligations.
We do not sell your personal data to third parties.
Who we are
Rizsume is an AI agent for resume and interview prep. It helps job seekers improve application quality with a resume copilot, ATS-style insights, and interview coaching.
Personal data we collect
Account data, such as name, email, and authentication identifiers.
Resume content, metadata, and generated versions saved in your workspace.
Copilot and interview conversations, including the messages and answers you submit to the AI and the feedback it returns.
Usage events, diagnostics, and device/browser information for reliability and security.
Support communications you send through contact forms or email.
Why we process data
To deliver core product features, including resume editing, scoring, and exports.
To secure accounts, prevent abuse, and protect platform integrity.
To improve product quality through analytics and feedback loops.
To communicate service updates, approvals, and important account notices.
To comply with applicable legal and regulatory requirements.
How we use AI
When you use the copilot, reviewer, agents, or interview coach, the relevant resume content, job description, and your messages are sent to our AI providers to generate the response.
AI suggestions are advisory. The copilot proposes edits, but nothing changes your resume until you review and apply them.
We do not sell your content, and we do not use your resume or conversation data to train third-party foundation models.
Conversations and agent runs are stored in your workspace so you can revisit them, and are deleted when you delete the related resume or your account.
AI output can contain mistakes; you are responsible for reviewing it before relying on it.
Service providers we rely on
We share data only with trusted providers that help operate Rizsume:
- Supabase — authentication, database, and file storage.
- OpenRouter and the AI model providers it routes to (such as OpenAI) — generating AI suggestions, analysis, and interview coaching.
- Stripe — subscription billing and payment processing.
- Resend — transactional and account email.
- Analytics providers (such as Google Analytics and Hotjar) — only after you accept analytics cookies.
Data sharing and disclosures
Beyond the providers listed above, we disclose information only when required by law or to protect users and the platform. We never sell your personal data.
Analytics and cookies
We may use analytics tools and cookie-like technologies to understand feature usage, measure performance, and improve product experience.
Data retention
We retain personal data only as long as needed for the purposes in this policy. Resume versions, copilot conversations, and interview sessions live in your workspace until you delete the related resume or your account, unless a longer retention period is required by law.
Your rights
Depending on your location, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or restrict processing of your personal data. Contact us to submit a request.
International transfers
Your data may be processed in countries where our providers operate. We use reasonable safeguards to protect transferred data.
Security
We use technical and organizational controls designed to protect data against unauthorized access, loss, or misuse.
Children's privacy
Rizsume is not intended for children under 13 (or the minimum age in your jurisdiction), and we do not knowingly collect such data.
Policy changes
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Material changes will be posted with a revised effective date.
